PostgreSQL:
An excellent resource for help with PostgreSQL is Justin Clift's
techdocs section
Perl
- eSQL. A very simple web publishing system for creating static web
pages from database systems. Designed for beginners to use with programs
like Microsoft Access.
Zope
- Zope Products. Some straightforward products I've developed for Zope,
including the discussion widget, below, and a book-reviewing widget used
on Oliver's site.
- Zope HOW-TOs: I have a HOWTO about optimizing Zope and PostgreSQL at
My Membership Page.
Microsoft Access
- Sample Access databases. As a database consultant, I've designed dozens
of Access databases for clients, including some nifty code for managing
duplicates, a full-featured report wizard, and more. All of these databases
can be downloaded and re-used, and all of the code is issued under the the
General Public License, an Open Source license.
- My handouts for the Access classes that I teach. These are in Powerpoint
format, but I'm moving them over to a much more flexible XML-based format.
(Open Source friends: you can always open the Powerpoint document in
OpenOffice, a great free Microsoft Office-compatible
suite.)
